  • Beep sound and electrostatic shock mode warning: This wired electronic fence maintains the electric shock mode, only slightly (the electric shock intensity cannot be adjusted). When your pet approaches the boundary line you set, the collar will first beep to notice your pet. If he/she continues to approach, it will trigger an electric shock accompanied by a beep sound. The 100 level signal is adjustable, and you can adjust the signal level through the “+” and “-” on the transmitter. Once the boundary is set, the higher the signal level of the transmitter, the smaller the range of motion of the puppy. This means that when the dog approaches the boundary, the collar will beep faster. When the connection is poor or the wire is broken, the transmitter will intelligently sound an alarm to promptly detect the problem.
  • Oversized coverage area, up to 3/4 acre: Equipped with a 650 foot boundary line, covering an area of up to 3/4 acre, if your yard is large, you can purchase additional cables to expand to more areas. You can lay wires of any shape to keep your dog where you want.
  • Rechargeable, IPX7 waterproof electronic collar: The dog enclosure system is equipped with 2 waterproof and rechargeable receiver collars, which can comfortably accommodate dogs weighing 8 pounds and above, and can be adjusted to fit neck sizes of 6-28 inches. Attention: When dogs wear collars, try to leave some space and avoid using this electronic collar for a long time. A 500mah rechargeable battery that only needs to be charged for 2.5 hours and is expected to last for 15 days, reducing the number of charges and protecting the battery

310 reviews for 5 Acres Wired Pet Fences- for 2 Dogs 9-150lbs, Electric Collar, Training Puppy, Outdoor Yard

  1. Alysen of Houston

Our golden retrievers mostly stay within the boundaries, but one of them still runs through if distracted. It’s working, he twitches when he crosses, but he doesn’t seem to care. Even on the highest setting.

  2. alyssa

Worked great initially, but after three weeks, something went wrong. Dog figured it out and started running off. Frustrating to have it fail so soon.

  3. Ben Eaton

It shocks my dogs enough to keep them in the yard, so that’s good. But the build quality? Terrible. Prong snapped off twice. Customer service was nice enough to replace it once, but still.

  4. Customer

Collar is decent, but the battery was dead on arrival. Bit of a letdown.

  5. Laura

Great concept, but it doesn’t work if you already have a fence. Wish that was clearer in the description. Selling it now, might be good for ranches or unfenced homes.

  6. gigi

I’ve ordered so many of these, you’d think I could get some freebies! My youngest dog chews these apart in no time. Tried using a rubber hose around the receiver. Might have to switch brands if it doesn’t work.

  7. KatAnne

Package arrived right on time, but there was no paperwork included. Had to print info from the website. Some flags were torn and the waterproof splicers looked used. But hey, it seems to be working so far! Now, to train the pups!

  8. David B.

Installing this fence was a breeze! If only the shock could be a bit stronger, it would be perfect.

  9. Steve O

It’s decent, nothing too fancy but it does the job.

  10. Heather Brickhouse

This fence system is awesome! It works like a charm. But, I gotta say, the collar gave out after just six days. That was a bit disappointing.

  11. Sara Ferguson

The only downside is that replacement batteries are pricey. But overall, this fence works exactly as promised.

  12. Customer

The fence works well, but the batteries don’t last long. That’s my only complaint.

  13. Andrew

Replaced my old pet fence with this one. Works great, but I wish the collars were rechargeable instead of needing new batteries. Other than that, great price and extra collars are affordable.

  14. mom of two

This system is great when there aren’t too many distractions. My dog has darted through it when excited, but it’s very effective in our fenced backyard, keeping her out of the planters.

  15. Customer

Works fine for my 30-pound dog, but even on the highest setting, my 65-pound dog sometimes runs through the open gate. It’s not a perfect solution, but it helps.

  16. K. Breit

Before you buy, plan ahead! Decide where you’ll put the fence and dig that trench first. I made the mistake of buying before planning and our complex yard made installation a nightmare. Lesson learned: prep before you purchase!

  17. Henry

Using this for our rescued dog and it’s been great! Keeps him safe and sound.

  18. Sterling

This electric fence did its job for a while, keeping my dogs in the backyard. But they eventually figured out they could bolt through to the front yard. It worked okay until then, but after a few escapes, I lost trust and put in a physical fence instead.

  19. Randyored

This fence is awesome! Totally works a charm.

  20. meak

This fence system is really something! Installing it was a bit of work, especially with my energetic pup, but it’s been smooth sailing since. The support team behind this is amazing, always ready to lend a hand. Instructions were clear as day and I’m glad I don’t have to chase my dog around the block anymore! And did I mention I saved a ton by not building a “real” fence?

  21. Bike Dad

Would’ve given five stars but had problems with the collar closure. It wore out after a couple of months and we found the collar in the yard twice. Had to buy a new one for $70. Petoneda should upgrade the closure. Installation was simple, took 5 hours for our big yard. Used an extra roll of wire and it worked great.

  22. heather

Stopped working after 3 months. When it worked, it was amazing! Checked the wiring, did a test, and the problem is with the transmitter not registering the wire. Ugh!

  23. EM

Simple to set up unless you have to bury the line. Adjustable boundary widths, collar gives proximity warning then “bites” if they get too close. Dogs learned their lesson in a day.

  24. W J Gardner

Good product, does its job but needs replacement every few years because the housing separates.

  25. Autumn Rowan

Really disappointed in this product. Had an older version that was great but they stopped making replacement collars. This new system is a mess. Transmitter only works at high settings and collars go off randomly. Had to set them to beep only which isn’t effective. One even went off inside the house!

  26. Dawna

Works great, batteries could last longer but it’s not a big deal. Installation is easy but takes time. Would definitely buy again.

  27. jo

This is a lifesaver! Our pup was always climbing the fence to play with the neighbors’ dogs. We just zip-tied the line to the fence, did some training, and now he stays put! The collar is chewable but the black part is transferable. Distance isn’t accurate, we set it to 4ft but it’s more like 1ft.

  28. Jckk

Got all the gear, spent hours digging and drilling, but it never worked properly. Tested the collar and fence, signal was hit or miss. Sometimes it wouldn’t go off, sometimes it would go off too close or too far. Couldn’t figure out the problem, so we gave up.

  29. Amy Clement

Been using this for almost a year and here’s the deal. Pros: It works most of the time, had a few hiccups but got it back up and running. Installation was time-consuming but doable. Cons: Doesn’t work for all dogs, especially hunting breeds. Mine will bolt if they see something interesting. Also, the collars are too small for big dogs. My larger one is a bit squeezed.

  30. Macdaddy1971

Ordered this in December 2017 and installed it in February. It worked great for a week, then suddenly stopped. The red loop light was off and the collar wasn’t working. Checked the line for breaks, changed the battery, but nothing worked.

  31. Timothy Schramm

Been using these for over 10 years and they work great when they’re working. Batteries last me 3-6 months, no biggie, I just stock up. Easy to test if they’re running low, just take the collar off and walk to the edge. My only gripe is the quality. Over time, I’ve had to replace a few that just stopped working, even with new batteries. Sometimes the battery doesn’t fit snug and that can mess with the contact points.

  32. Mat C.

This fence works, but if you have a big, dumb dog, they might just run through it and get stuck on the other side. It would be great if there was a remote control to shock them when they bark at night. Otherwise, it’s a good fence.

  33. D. Holmes

The fence works well and is easy to set up. We bought an extra collar for our second dog and while that one’s fine, the battery in the original collar is giving a low battery warning. Strange, as it’s the dog that just lies in the yard all day!

  34. Scott Arntz

Setting this up was easy and it keeps my beagle Maverick away from the deer behind our house. I used an edger to lay the wire and would recommend doing the same.

  35. Sonic

Pretty good value for the price.

  36. chandler

This fence usually does the job. I’ve set it up around a 3-acre perimeter. If I set the signal to 10, it shocks the dogs even when they’re far from the fence, so I keep it at 7. My only concern is that one of the collars doesn’t always go off near the fence. Not sure why, but it’s inconsistent.

  37. Erin

I bought two of these and they both stopped working within a few months. Was really disappointed, as it’s a great tool when it works. Contacted customer service and they’re sending new receivers. Very happy with their response!

  38. Customer

My 6-month-old puppy seems to be getting the hang of this invisible fence. It wasn’t the easiest to install, but she stays within the boundary now, unless something like a rabbit or deer tempts her. If she does break through, she’s hesitant to come back in. We’ll see how it goes over time.

  39. anywhere_2_run

You’ll need someone who knows about these things to help you out. The wiring can be a bit of a headache, especially since you can’t do a continuous loop. But once you figure it out, it’s not so bad.

  40. Customer

This underground fence is usually great! I’ve used it for years and it’s stood the test of time with my dogs. But I think I might have got a bad batch this time.

  41. JHS

This product seems fine for dogs, but the collar is way too bulky and heavy for my 13-pound cat. And the instructions say to put the collar on while the pet is standing. Good luck doing that with a cat! Plus, the packaging and instructions don’t even mention cats, so it’s clearly more dog-focused.

  42. anonymous

    I like it!

  43. Customer

Love the system, but they should use a material that’s harder for dogs to chew through.

  44. k-slice

The collar tends to loosen up, so we have to keep checking and tightening it. Not a big deal, but something to watch out for.

  45. A. rollins

My mother-in-law has this system. It’s cheaper than what I’ve been using, but there’s a catch: you have to buy their batteries forever. Kind of a shady business tactic, if you ask me.

  46. Jessica L Cherne

It works okay, but we’ve had to buy two because they tend to fall off the dog when he gets wet.

  47. Andy Finck

It’s good, but $70 seems steep. Just saying.

  48. Simply Rebecca Marie

Works fine, but the batteries seem to run down faster than the bigger ones. Just something to keep in mind.

  49. Jennifer

We’ve been using the underground fence for over two years now. Luckily, my dog’s well-trained, so when the collar conked out, it wasn’t a big deal. Since it was out of warranty, I found a cheap fix. Now we’ve got it as a backup, just in case!

  50. kp

This collar is pretty decent, does its job well. But be careful with the little plastic plug that keeps it waterproof, mine kind of crumbled when I tried to take it off. It was a bit of a hassle to fix, so I hope I don’t have to change any settings soon! Aside from that, it’s been working like a charm.

  51. Alaskan Crafter

I love this product, but if you have a big yard, be prepared for a lot of wire connections. I switched to a thicker wire and it’s been much better.

  52. Juli A. Ryan

The collar stopped working after just six months. New batteries didn’t help. It doesn’t beep or shock near the boundary wire anymore. Disappointed it didn’t last longer.

  53. Caromaselo

I think it works, but the installation was too confusing for me. I’d prefer a wireless option.

  54. NiAsh

Installed it in a day, and it was worth the effort. Our dog was trained in a week and hasn’t left the yard since!

  55. Sassy cowgirl

This product is great, but installing it is no joke. I had to call a friend who’s an electrician for help. If you’re not handy, you might want to reconsider.

  56. Just Ms J

It’s been good so far, but installing it was a real headache. Took us weeks to get it right, and we ended up with a smaller area than we planned. Some instructions were confusing, like the twisting of the wire part. But it’s finally set up and working.

  57. James Bergstrom

This is a bit too big for my 65-pound pup. If you have a larger dog, this might be perfect, but for us, it’s a bit much.

  58. Tina

It was great when it worked, but the transmitter stopped after a few months.

  59. NOODLES

So far, it’s been working great! Our five-month-old husky tries to dig under the fence, but this keeps him at bay. We have to keep the shock value maxed out for him, but it’s doing its job. The only downside is the collar battery life seems a bit short, maybe because he’s always testing the boundaries. The battery lasts less than a month, is that normal?

  60. Ben Gordon

Works well, but it would be great if it came with heavier gauge wire.

  61. teg

    Not very good.

  62. Justin Green

I just got this today, and it’s amazing! I have two big Pitt bulls, and they’re still getting used to the boundaries, but the training process is going well. If they cross the line while running, they get a shock. I’ve ditched the cage and built them a dog house instead. Two minor issues: the wire is very easy to break, so I’ve switched to 14-gauge wire. And some people say you have to replace the battery every week. I’m not sure about that yet, but I’ll see.

  63. hi

Installing the electric fence was easy, and I attached it to our existing fence. Our dog quickly learned that jumping on the fence would result in a zap. This has solved our runaway dog problem, at least in the short term. So far, so good. I’ll update more in a few months.

  64. Sherrie L. Tew

The battery was dead when it arrived, so I had to buy a new one. A bit of an inconvenience.

  65. JLS

This product is just too pricey for what it offers.

  66. Greg R.

Pretty straightforward to set up. The extra collar is a great bonus. This is exactly what you need to keep your pets safe.

  67. mommabear

I’ve had these for my pitbull, mastiff, and husky for a year, and they’ve been great. The dogs quickly figured out their boundaries in our large yard. Recently, a bear wandered into the yard and my dogs chased it off, thankfully with no serious injuries. The collars got damaged, but I’m just glad my babies are okay. Time to order new collars, definitely worth the purchase!

  68. Mike

This works seamlessly with my current unit, no extra programming needed. Pretty convenient!

  69. DAWN KOEPNICK

    A bit of a disappointment.

  70. Paul Reyes Customer

This fence system works pretty well, but there’s one issue. It claims you can adjust the distance at which your pet feels the static shock, up to 10 feet away. However, no matter what setting I try, the static only kicks in when I’m about 6 inches away. That’s a bit of a let-down.

  71. Caley Blythe

    Pretty affordable option.

  72. Steve Valetta

Our husky has been a master escape artist for 8 years. Finally invested in this and I’m kicking myself for not doing it sooner. It might seem silly to have both an invisible and a real fence, but some dogs are just born to run. Price was reasonable and installation took a leisurely afternoon. Our dog has thick fur, so I had to crank up the intensity and use the longer prongs. She was a bit spooked initially, but it’s all good now.

  73. Customer

It technically worked, but my dog would just ignore the warnings and walk out anyway. Didn’t really work for us.

  74. Nick

My yard is about 5000 sqft, and I find the distance from the wire to be either too close or too far. My dog often gets stuck in the middle of the yard. Otherwise, it functions well.

  75. Gabriel Louie

Great for small dogs and cats, though the collar is a bit bulky for cats. Definitely not suitable for big dogs. Installation was a bit of a chore, but worth it in the end.

  76. Susan I.

This has been a game-changer for our six-month-old puppy. She’s loving the freedom to roam the yard without a leash and quickly learned her new boundaries. Setup was a breeze with the perimeter wire system.

  77. Valerie Mcgriff

It works, but it’s a bit inconsistent. Sometimes it’s perfect, other times it seems to struggle.

  78. daniel j

Not happy with the quality. In just a year and a half, I’ve had to replace three collars. Two of them had a prong break off. My previous collar lasted years without any issues. Customer service was great about replacing the faulty collars, but still, it’s frustrating.

  79. Kyle Runyon

It can be a bit temperamental. Sometimes it works like a charm, other times my dog just runs through it before getting a shock.

  80. Pablo Talano

It’s still early to form a solid opinion, but so far it seems promising.

  81. Cait B

I haven’t even had this fence for a month and the collar’s already not working.

  82. Customer

We tried to set up the fence, but there was no power adapter or battery in the package.

  83. Julie

This wasn’t what I thought. You have to buy batteries for the collars from the company.

  84. Faye

I’m happy with this so far. The battery is easy to put in and the one that came with it is still working.

  85. Emily M.

My husband set this up in our backyard to keep our dog from chewing the siding and digging up the WiFi wire. He did it in less than an hour. It works great, but the collar comes loose sometimes. We had to figure out how to keep it tight. Now our dog knows her boundaries and doesn’t need it anymore.

  86. Candice Churchill

Batteries don’t last as long as I want. But it works well and seems pretty durable so far.

  87. Seagrit

I bought this to set up a boundary at the driveway gate. But to make it work, I’d need a 200-foot extension cord. I thought it was all battery-powered, but only the collar is. So, I returned it. It would be cool if it was solar-powered. Now I’m getting a solar-powered gate opener instead. Wish I could’ve saved the extra cost.

  88. Captain Eric G

This collar is great, but if you have a small dog, spend the extra cash for the smaller version. It’s perfect for our Lab, but looks huge on our little terrier mix, like she’s wearing a Saint Bernard’s collar! Anyway, it works well and they haven’t crossed the line since they figured it out. If you’re doing a DIY fence, this is the way to go. Saves you a ton of money. Just be ready to spend a whole day installing it, but it’s worth it.

  89. Melissa M Perez

This product is okay, but my dogs still manage to run through the boundaries sometimes. And one collar battery seems to be dead already. Just ordered new ones, not happy about the battery life at all.

  90. Bryce

This thing didn’t work for me, probably because of some metal stuff near where I wanted to use it. I live in an apartment and just wanted to keep my cat from bolting out the back. If it had worked, I’d still have to double back the wire 5 feet from the first one, since I couldn’t run it all around my property. Not a big deal in my small yard, but still. Before buying, check for big metal things near where you want the fence. Oh, and you’ll need screws for the box, it doesn’t come with them. The collar was kind of bulky for my cat, but hey,

  91. W Werthy Reviews

Just got it, and so far, so good. I’m using it with a pro-installed system, and it’s working well.

  92. GG

The system works fine, but the batteries don’t last long.

  93. Alexandra

Tough to install and get it running. Ended up switching to a wireless system.

  94. Lauren A

We’ve used this system at multiple places for different dogs. Training is key – walk the fence line, teach them to run to the house when they hear the tone. It’s not plug-and-play; training is essential. Installation can be a chore, especially if you have a large area. Use an edger to dig the trench, trust me. Ours got hit by lightning after 16+ years, first time that’s happened.

  95. pickymel

Been using collars from a certain brand for years. Had an issue with an older model where the battery door vanished in the yard. Got a new collar in 2019 but had battery and pin issues. Called customer service, and they were great about replacing it under warranty.

  96. Cheryl

It gets three stars because even on the lowest setting, it scares my dog. Maybe it’s just my dog, though.

  97. Devin Knapp

Kind of a bummer it arrived without the power adapter for the transmitter.

  98. Tammy

Installing it was fairly straightforward, as long as you don’t mind breaking a sweat digging. It does the job, and my dog caught on fast. Would definitely recommend!

  99. Customer

The fence performed brilliantly for a couple of weeks, but then the collar stopped functioning. We’ve tried everything we were advised, but it’s still dead.
Hoping to get a replacement collar soon. That’s our only gripe so far.

  100. satman

Installation was a breeze, and my dog quickly learned from the initial shock.
The customer service on the phone was top-notch!

  101. Customer

The wire breaks pretty easily, so be careful!

  102. Customer Review

I have a small yard with a partial fence. I foster dogs and needed a way to keep them in. Installation was easy except for burying the wire. Training takes about 2 weeks before I feel safe leaving them unsupervised. I recommend watching Petoneda videos on YouTube.

  103. Sunshine :)

We needed a way to keep our dogs from running out or crossing the road. This system works, but installation was a bit of work. Digging the trench and covering the wire took hours. The 500ft cord was enough for our front yard. The collars are rechargeable and seem to hold a charge well. They’re only worn outside. It comes with 2 adjustable collars. We’re still training, but it’s promising.

  104. Anthony W Lindsey

Just follow the instructions and you’re good to go!

  105. MrsSunday

This underground fence is great for keeping pets in a specific area. You can design it as you like. Installation takes work, though. You need to plan ahead and know exactly where you want to lay the wire. It’s kept my dogs away from the trail next to our property. Just make sure to plan it out!

  106. Meagan Garza

Battery life is too short, only 1-3 months. I twisted the wire to cross my yard, but now I have to redo it because my dog can’t pass. It reduced my yard by 1/3.

  107. Mark B.

The collar and fence are fine, but the collar’s audible signal isn’t very loud. If it’s noisy outside, the dogs might not hear the warning before getting zapped. The fence works as long as you don’t nick the wire. The directions could be clearer. Digging the trench is the hardest part. I only used 250ft of the 500ft wire, but it was still a lot of digging. Satisfied with the results, though!

  108. dgandrud

This is a basic pet containment system. I’ve installed similar systems before, but this wire is thinner than most. I’m worried it might break easily. The collar and box are okay, but changing the strength is a bit awkward. The screwdriver they provided doesn’t work well, so use a regular one. I’ve laid about 400′ of wire, hope it lasts!

  109. Ashley

This kit has everything you need to keep your pets in the yard! We got it for our digger dog to prevent her from escaping. So far, it’s working wonders! The installation was a bit of a hassle, digging and covering the wire, but I managed it in a day.

  110. Honey Bunz

This underground electric dog fence is super easy to use. Just read the instructions and check out other reviews for helpful tips. The collars work great and are adjustable, no accidental zappings here! I’m a bit worried about the wire’s durability in the sun or buried, maybe covering them with PVC tubes is a good call. Overall, it’s been a positive experience, keeping our dogs in the yard without a physical fence.

  111. Unbiased Reviews!

Great fence system, easy to set up and use. Just keep in mind, it’s not a babysitter. Use it with caution and supervision. But it’s a great way to teach your dog boundaries. I recommend it!

  112. Curtis

I had no idea what I was getting into with this! Burying the wire was a huge job, and training my hyper dog was even harder. She still runs through it sometimes when she sees a cat. But it does work most of the time.

  113. Sandfinder

Love this fence! I don’t leave my dog alone with it, but it’s great for when we’re in the backyard together. Training was easy with online videos. My only complaint is the battery in the collar runs out every 1-2 months.

  114. Customer

Buying this again after 3 years. It’s been good, but the battery life is short and the contacts break off easily. Kinda disappointed, but it does the job when it’s working.

  115. Debrah

I like this product, but sometimes it’s hit or miss. The battery can be iffy, and sometimes my dog can just run through it like it’s not even there. I’m not sure if it’s malfunctioning or what, but when it works, it’s great.

  116. Joshua

Used the yellow wire, had some issues keeping it running. Had to keep the setting on max for it to work most of the time. Switching to multistrand wire helped a lot.

  117. Barbie Perez

This fence is a bit of a mixed bag. It messed with our security cameras, which was a pain. And my dog did get out once in 5 days, which was scary. But overall, it’s better than nothing if your dog’s a bit of a traffic-lover. Digging the perimeter was a breeze, took us just a few hours.

  118. Eduardo becerra

Not happy with this one. It stopped doing its job, no shock like it should.

  119. Customer

Been using this fence for 3 months and it’s mostly great. The only thing is, if your dog’s a biggie and the collar’s at neck level, it might not work as well. Works fine for small to medium dogs, but for the big guys, you might want to look for something else.

  120. Gale

    Awesome, just what I needed!

  121. Elizabeth Conley

Just had a visit from the police. Our dogs blew through this fence on all settings, didn’t faze them at all. Now I’m off to buy materials for a taller fence. Hope that, combined with the highest setting, keeps them safe!

  122. Michael

The equipment just stopped working one day. That was a bummer.

  123. Customer

Digging two ditches five feet apart? Not my favorite part, but it’s all good in the end.

  124. Customer

Works great, my dog stays put now! Would’ve been perfect if the warning zone before the shock was bigger.

  125. Customer

My husband’s been sick, so we’re just getting started on the fence setup. Kinda bummed there wasn’t a battery in the box.

  126. Too many kids

    It’s cool, I like it.

  127. Laura K.

Installed this for our pups, but even on the lowest setting, it was too much for them. Guess we’ll have to adjust!

  128. caitlin Evans

One of the collars conked out before a month was up. Trying to find someone to swap it with, but overall, it’s been a bit of a hassle.

  129. Harry R. Chavis

Almost gave this a perfect score, but it arrived with a dead battery. Luckily, I had an extra from my other dogs’ collars.

  130. Fawn

We bought two collars, but it’s kind of weird – one only works well on the lower power, while the other needs the stronger setting. Oh well, they still do the job!

  131. TGrady

Spent a lot of time comparing fences. Installation seemed daunting, but with some YouTube videos, it was actually easier than expected. Just be careful if neighbors have invisible fences too.

  132. Customer

Dogs just run through the fence. Thought it would keep shocking them, but nope. Now my female dog’s missing… Good if your dogs pay attention.

  133. Tina Watson

My dogs mostly stay put, but sometimes the min pin wanders past the boundary and the collar doesn’t react. Level 2 does nothing for any of my dogs, but Level 3 is like a taser! Can’t imagine what higher levels feel like. My pit’s now scared to go out.

  134. jbmart

    Everything’s good, no complaints here.

  135. Cory

Installation had some hiccups: template was off, wire connections were backwards, and the loop light was confusing. But customer service was amazing! They fixed everything quickly. Full marks for their help!

  136. josh pursley

If your dog’s over 40lbs, this might not be the best choice.

  137. S Bats

Battery replacement is a hassle. Wish it lasted longer.

  138. Danielle B

The max setting is way too strong. Works fine on low, but max is just overkill.

  139. Customer

The dog collars lasted less than four months. That’s pretty disappointing.

  140. JUDE

Customer service was awesome! Had a bad transformer, but they sent a replacement kit in just 2 days. Now it’s working great. Next step, dog training…haha!

  141. Em Sisson

Pretty easy to install, just make sure all the wires are connected correctly. It works well and keeps our Great Dane/Pyrenees in the yard. The battery died after a month or two, but we haven’t replaced it because our dog has learned the boundaries and stays in the yard now.

  142. Emily Billquist

My only issue with the system is the battery that came with it. I tried to test my setup and got less than 3 minutes before the collar battery died.

  143. James

Heads up! This doesn’t come with batteries for the collars! I spent the afternoon installing the system only to find out I needed batteries for the collars, and they’re not easy to find. Might as well have used a piece of string around the yard. Sure, the system will probably work fine when I get the batteries, but that doesn’t help me now.

  144. C. K. Ballance

The installation instructions weren’t clear about bypassing a door or walkway, so mine’s still sitting unused in the box.

  145. Raquel Bernard

The collar didn’t come with a battery.

  146. Dan and Phebe Harrigan

Good product, but burying the line was a lot of digging. I’d buy it again.

  147. Luis Felipe Lara

This product works okay for small dogs or calm ones. But I have two large, energetic puppies who love to escape, even with a big space to run and play. At first, they responded to the collar’s correction, but they soon figured out that if they ran fast enough, the correction wasn’t enough to stop them. One day, while playing, they chewed through the collars and one got destroyed. I ended up having to install a regular electric fence with a dog-specific impulse unit – that’s what finally worked.

  148. Lynn Morgan

I bought two collars at the same time, and one of them stopped working after just six months. We tried a new battery, but it still didn’t work.

  149. Amanda A.

The collar was too heavy for my little dogs. I didn’t realize it until I put it on them – the size was okay, but the weight was a problem. Not ideal for chihuahuas! Otherwise, it works well and is reasonably priced.

  150. Customer

This does the job for our huskies, but we had to make a few adjustments to the collars. They’re pros at taking each other’s collars off, and these were a bit flimsy. So, I popped the modules into some sturdier collars and added a protective case to prevent chewing. Now, they’re working great!

  151. Kindle Customer

Got this in October 2021 but took me a while to install. It was tough burying it under our landscaping rocks. Worked great initially! Our bulldog quickly learned to stay away from his favorite plants. But the battery died fast and the replacement didn’t last long. Now it doesn’t even beep. Not happy.

  152. kasey

Giving it a 3 because there was no battery in the package, despite what the description said. Now I have to order one to test it. I’ll update later.

  153. Brandon

This system shocks your dogs if they stand too close, even if they’re far from the fence! Installation was typical – not a walk in the park, but manageable. Just don’t use it for multiple dogs. It’ll shock them if they play too close.

  154. Co

I’m still not 100% sure about this. It works, but my dog can still cross certain areas. Weird.

  155. TOM

Bought this in November, set it up in December, and the battery died in April. Kind of a let-down, especially since the red lights still flashed even after it stopped working. Being 7.5 months pregnant with a loose dog was stressful. Thankfully, she’s smart and stayed on the sidewalk.

  156. Nikki Baker

I’ve bought four of these in the last six months. They’re that good!

  157. Noskcaj117

Installation was a headache, and the batteries are pricey. But hey, it works like a charm!

  158. Dorothy J Helms

I liked it initially, but my puppy got shocked once and now he won’t leave the garage or patio with his collar on. That’s a bit of a problem…

  159. Classic59

It keeps my dog in the yard, which is great. But she seems to be too scared to move with the collar on. She just stays put the whole time. Oh well, at least she’s not running off!

  160. Billy

This underground fence does the job, but I’m planning to swap out the wire this weekend. The current wire is a bit flimsy. If you use this wire, make sure to do a full loop without any joints. Otherwise, they might corrode and mess up the signal.

  161. Spring L Huston

This system is just not reliable.

    1. Collars sometimes work, sometimes don’t. The wire is cheap and breaks easily. I’ve had a 20% failure rate on collars after just a couple of months, which is unacceptable.

    2. I’ve bought 4 kits and only 1 works properly. The others either don’t work at all or have major issues.

    3. The delay in the shock is too long. Dogs can easily run through without getting shocked, even on the highest setting.

  162. KentR

This system is good, but I really dislike the collar battery. It’s overpriced and doesn’t last long. A rechargeable collar would be much better.

  163. Matthew Barrett

It works well, but it would be great if there was an alarm when the loop disconnects.

  164. I make stuff

Had this for about 5 months. Installation was a chore. The collar works sometimes, but not always. My dog learned to run fast enough to cross the line without getting shocked. Now he just runs off whenever he sees something interesting. The design needs improvement.

  165. Ten Years After

Setting it up was easy and the price was great, especially since it was on sale!

  166. Adam Brown

Wanted this to work so badly, but after a while, my dogs just don’t seem to care about it anymore.

  167. Elli

Disappointed, the product said it included a battery but there wasn’t one in the box.

  168. Joshua

Bought this to keep my two dogs in the yard, but when I opened the box, there were no batteries even though it said they were included.

  169. donna iverson

Absolutely love this system! We’ve set it up across our 2.5 acres and it’s keeping our Great Pyrenees at home, no problem. Installation was straightforward, even with some digging involved. Customer service was super helpful when I had questions. They even sent me a new collar when I had an issue, can’t believe it!

  170. Jessica Zemla

No problems at all, it just worked right out of the box!

  171. DW

Got these as ‘used’ but they were brand new in sealed packaging! All four collars work perfectly, what a great find!

  172. Jim

These collars are great, with multiple shock levels to choose from. Glad I switched to these and Petoneda’s transformer, avoiding that other company completely.

  173. Sam

This is the only way to keep my huskies from escaping! Just a heads up, you might need special collars for big dogs, and don’t turn the boundary distance past 6 on the controller.

  174. Jose

Battery life is impressive! My dogs learned the boundaries quickly with just a beep, no need for strong shocks. They picked it up in a week with some basic training. Highly recommend!

  175. Camper

I had to call customer service for collar setup, but they were super helpful. The collar gives a warning tone and little shock when my dog strays, and he quickly learned to stay close. Great product, just make sure to read the manual and maybe call for extra help.

  176. Taylor May

I was skeptical, but this really works! We have four dogs, all runners, and this system keeps them all in check. Took a bit of effort to put the wire in, but it’s been totally worth it. Our dogs stay put, even with a foot of snow on the ground!

  177. Misty Fox

Setting this up was a breeze! My dog quickly learned to stay away from the fence line, so he doesn’t bolt out of the yard. My son got a similar product and he loves it too!

  178. Athena Howell

This fence is a lifesaver for keeping my dog out of the neighbor’s yard and in my own.

  179. Donna

    Everything’s cool, except for that wire. On a scale of 1 to 10, it’s a 1. It’s just awful.

  180. Customer

It’s really comforting to know my pet’s safe when he’s out and about, thanks to this fence.

  181. Angela Winders

Super easy to set up, perfect for our pit bulls. They’re stubborn as hell, but with the right shock, they don’t even try to bolt now. Love giving them the run of the yard (had enough wire for front and back) without worrying about them causing trouble or getting busted for their breed. This fence is a lifesaver.

  182. Nicole

Collars are trash. New battery, still busted. Only had them 3 months, already falling apart. Wouldn’t buy again.

  183. Customer

My husky pup was always climbing the fence. One zap, and now she won’t go near it.

  184. Customer

Got a buddy to help install, made things a breeze.

  185. Mayra V.

Set it up in no time, works a treat.

  186. Douglas

Took some training, but now it’s killer. Used an edger to install the wire, top notch! Would defs recommend.

  187. Matthew

This product’s the bomb, works perfectly on all our pups. Ordered another collar, it was dud, but customer service was ace, replaced it no questions asked. Totally recommend for your doggos.

  188. Kimberly Y

This thing’s great, keeps my pets out of places they shouldn’t be.

  189. Dbkoby

    Awesome, works like a charm!

  190. Chad Robertson

We’ve set up about 2000 feet of wire around our land, and the controller’s snug in a weatherproof box. So far, so good! We made a booboo initially by not walking the dogs around to show them the boundaries. Our labs were too bold, dashed through and only got a tiny zap. But we upped the shock, put out flags, and now they’re good. Our old wireless system only gave them a 90′ radius, loads of mess to clean up. This new one lets them roam free in the desert, much better!

  191. Customer

Got this as an extra for my brother’s system and it’s been great so far.

  192. Customer

My dog always found a way to bolt, but after this, she got zapped once and now stays away from the fence. So glad I got this!

  193. Customer

    Not applicable.

  194. Kindle Customer

Been using it for 3 months and I’m really happy. Just a heads up, installing it was harder than I thought. Burying the line was a lot of work! And getting the collar settings right took some trial and error. But it works great and I’m satisfied.

  195. Anna

This is our third invisible fence in a year. The battery lasts long, the wire is stronger than cheaper ones. Should’ve bought this one first!

  196. Hooghe Family

Pretty good for a DIY project.

  197. Customer

Had the first one for years, this is a replacement. Works like a charm!

  198. Ashley Zarelli

This changed everything! I put it along my whole property line. Keeps my dogs from jumping the fence and reacting to other dogs. No more running off! We can even open the front gate without worrying.
And it came with enough wire for both my GSDs and two collars!

  199. Sarah

We bought this and set it up by ourselves. Took us a while to fence in about 3-4 acres, but it’s been two years and we just got a second collar. Love it and would definitely recommend!

  200. Richard

    This is really top-notch!

  201. Mr. Throwback

Installing it was easy, and it works wonders. Would definitely buy again!

  202. Sherry

Got the line in, and that was it. The dogs learned so fast! Would definitely recommend this to others.

  203. Stephanie

Hands down, their products are the best. Customer service? Amazing! I’ve been using their underground fence for over 20 years. Only had to replace a receiver every 5 years or so. Pretty impressive, considering daily use!

  204. Sandy Lambert

We’ve got 3 acres and wanted our dogs to run free, enjoy the outdoors without the cost of a real fence. So, instead of digging in hard soil, we just ran the line through the trees to set our fence border. Now our dogs know their limits and the collars haven’t needed charging in years!

  205. DaniP

Does what it’s supposed to, but why so pricey? If you already have a system, it’s just a matter of putting it on the dog and adjusting the settings. Simple as that.

  206. Terina Hibbard

Super easy to put together and works a treat!

  207. Paul C

Works perfectly with my 15-year-old in-ground system. Glad I found a replacement that’s compatible and not the stubborn dog one. Just hope these new battery cartridges last 3-4 months like they say. We’ll see how it goes.

  208. Daniel Aicart

Setting it up was a breeze!

  209. Customer

Looks like it’s been sold before. Battery was even removed.

  210. Dan

Took me about a week and a few practice runs, but now I’m totally confident leaving my Newf and Saint outside by themselves. Just needed a bit of training and setting the level to 5. Might lower it later, but they don’t even go near the invisible line now. Really happy with it!

  211. Kelly C

We use this for our Boston terrier and border collie. Installation was straightforward, took some time, but worth it. Love the adjustable shock and warning beep. Found the right settings after a few shocks and now they avoid the line! Replacement collars are pricey, but worth it for the peace of mind. Batteries last for months, which is great.

  212. mrjohnt

Works great with my in-ground fence. Just set the level and snap it in place, easy as that.

  213. Allison Enix

Installed this myself and it works great. My dogs took a while to adapt, but they’re good now. Only thing is, the instructions said to set the collars to 5 for shock training, which was way too much. I set them to 2 and it’s perfect, even for my stubborn dog.

  214. Cathlene W.

It does what it’s meant to do, no complaints here.

  215. Muffin

I have an 80-pound Rottweiler puppy who was always escaping the fence. This did the trick! Attached it to my fence instead of burying it. It works, but setting it up was a real challenge. Took 3 hours with 3 people!

  216. Customer

Tried to get the cap off to use one, but it just shattered into pieces. Now I have to contact them, ugh.

  217. crystal kennedy

This fence ensures my dog stays home where she’s safe and sound. Couldn’t ask for more!

  218. Alex

The collar stopped working after just a few months. Had to replace the batteries, which was a bit of a hassle.

  219. Sam

Installing this product was a breeze and it works wonders. My dogs got the hang of it quickly and we’re all much happier now.

  220. K & B

I’ve got two German shepherds and this fence keeps them both happily in the yard, no issues at all! Works a treat.

  221. Marvin banks

Works well, but one collar came looking a bit busted. Hoping I can just replace the metal part, anyone know where to find it?

  222. Whitney Jernigan

Bought this for my 25-pound dog. He learned the boundaries in a day, works great!

  223. Nicki

Super easy to set up, great product overall.

  224. Eyup

My dog’s a smart cookie but also an escape artist. Got this as a cheaper alternative to a real fence, and it works wonders! Installed it myself in a few hours, trained him in days. No more trouble with the neighbors!

  225. Adam Belanger

Switched from another fence because our pup was getting freaked out by false alerts. This one’s been great – no false alarms, and she’s finally enjoying the yard without panic.

  226. R. Burnett

I like that this kit comes with a surge protector, and the collars use regular batteries. But the base needs to be indoors, which is weird for an outdoor fence. And the beep is way too quiet for older dogs.

  227. Caitlin Fisher

Collars work great for keeping my dogs in the yard, but the tail of the collar always slips out, gets loose and frayed. Not a biggie, but could be improved.

  228. Kyle Shorette

This thing is awesome! My big bloodhound who loves to wander now stays put, thanks to the invisible barrier.

  229. Tim Ullrich

Installing 1000 feet of this stuff was a breeze, even though it took some time. Totally worth saving the cash by doing it ourselves. Our shepherds got the hang of it in no time, no more unexpected walks in the neighborhood! YouTube vids helped a lot.

  230. Customer

Needed a new collar for our setup and this one does the job perfectly. Super easy to use and really effective.

  231. shelley gray

Chain link fences are so pricey nowadays! This was a great alternative. My dogs are happier and safer in the backyard now. Installation was pretty straightforward, and the weatherproof box keeps everything secure. Highly recommend!

  232. angela davidson

Much cheaper than buying in-store, great value!

  233. Kelly S

With six Aussies, this fence is a godsend. The collars are great, adjustable as the dogs grow, and totally waterproof. Just keep an eye on the battery light and swap it out when needed.

  234. Maria

We’ve got three dogs that could escape Houdini himself! This fence keeps them all in, no problem. The collar fits our Aussie and bird dogs, lots of room to grow. If it can hold a bird dog, it can hold anything!

  235. A.R.B.

Perfect for our big dogs, works a treat!

  236. Unhappy Happy Customer

Took a bit of time to set up, but once it was running, it’s been smooth sailing. Just need to swap out the collar batteries every few months.

  237. Joseph S.

This fence is awesome! Dogs got the hang of it quickly, and hiding the wires was a cinch. No fancy tools needed.

  238. Shannon

Bought this collar as a sub for the one that came with my underground fence. My dog got into a skunk and the old collar was a goner. This one’s great, no complaints!

  239. Jeinertson

Lost the old collar, no worries, this replacement was a breeze to set up and use.

  240. EH

Hey, if you’re on the fence about getting a dog fence, just do it! This one’s a total lifesaver. Sure, it takes a week or two of training, but it’s worth it. Our two pups are home and safe, thanks to this! No regrets here.

  241. CJH

Ordered a replacement collar and receiver, arrived super fast. Our GSD is safe and sound, thanks to this.

  242. Customer

Didn’t want to dig up our huge yard, tried wireless GPS collars, but they were a mess. Finally got these, installation was a pain, but worth it. Our dogs are safe, and that’s what matters.

  243. Gary D.

My dogs bark at the neighbors’ dog, so annoying. This device keeps them off the fence, stops the barking. Works great, but the control box could be better for outdoors. Wire management’s a bit tricky.

  244. Jake g

Easy install, worth every penny. Prongs are a bit wide for small pups, but they mostly work. Perfect for medium dogs. Gives me peace of mind, knowing they’re safe.

  245. Elia Cayetano Santiago

Fence feels a bit flimsy if you’ve a stubborn pooch…

  246. mommynor

Been using Petoneda for years, love them. This collar is solid, reliable.

  247. Griffin Anderson

My dog was trampling my flowers, so I got this fence. Works wonders, I’m thrilled!

  248. charles g angell

Hands down, the best decision for my pups. The correction feels like a tiny pinch. My advice? Set it to 5 after some training. My dogs are safe, happy, living their best lives!

  249. Dave

The collars have these black boxes, kinda big. I’m just wondering, how big a dog needs to be for this to actually work?

  250. Jackie

It really did the job, no fuss no muss.

  251. Britini M Bernard

Our kit arrived incomplete. Missing battery, test tool, and the wire looked cut short. If we weren’t in a hurry, we’d definitely return it.

  252. I love Cooter

Wish I could fully love this, but my dogs were getting randomly shocked even after following all instructions. And the ‘dead zones’ don’t seem to work as advertised. One of my dogs even peed in the kitchen because she was too scared to go near the back door. Bought this to keep them out of the garden, but now they’re terrified to even walk outside.

  253. Customer

Been using this brand for ages, barely any issues. Just keep extra batteries handy, especially if your dog likes to test boundaries!

  254. Cory

Tried burying the wire an inch or two under the dirt in a single loop, but nope, didn’t work for me.

  255. Brian Newvahner

Keeps my furry little ones in the yard, thankfully! Not that they’re real children, of course.

  256. Randy

Setting it up was a breeze, and it works like a charm.

  257. Mama dee

Really liked this, but oops, ordered the wrong thing. I actually needed a wireless fence collar. My bad!

  258. Natasha Berchenko

Got my item super quick, just as described. Awesome!

  259. Eileen

I love this collar! No more stressing about where my dog might be. Keeps him safe and sound.

  260. Sandy

My daughter was pet-sitting my two pups, and she felt totally at ease knowing they wouldn’t bolt with their new collars on. It’s a relief!

  261. Angela

I rarely write reviews, but this device deserves one. It saved my dog’s life and mine! He was always jumping the fence, wandering around the neighborhood, and risking getting hit by cars. Setting up the fence was easy. It took a few days, but after increasing the setting to 6, he finally learned to stay in the yard. Highly recommend!

  262. Audrey

This collar is lightweight, easy to adjust, and fits perfectly.

  263. Melnjoe

Bought this for my underground fence. The collar looks nice and isn’t bulky on my 30-pound Frenchie. Sadly, it’s not compatible with my fence. Customer service was very helpful, though.

  264. Gracesetfree1

It was missing the screw-on cap for the settings button, making it hard to press. Plus, the included battery was dead. But it was cheaper since it was repackaged.

  265. Lenette38

I researched a lot of fences and took my neighbor’s advice to try this one. It’s better than I expected and easy to set up. You can expand the fence if needed. The flags are key! My dogs learned quickly to stay away from them. They only got shocked once and now stay about 10-15 feet away. They have enough space to play but stay out of my crops. Great product, though the collars can loosen if your dogs are very active.

  266. Tres Finocchiaro

Thanks to some YouTubers, I upgraded the fence wire to 14 gauge. Installed it as instructed, and it’s working great! My dog gets tempted when he sees other dogs, but the third level on the collar quickly puts him in line. Levels 1-5 are beep to increasingly stronger shock, and I’ve tested it on myself – it works!

  267. M

Just like the description said, I definitely recommend it!

  268. maria m

This invisible fence actually works! Setting it up was a bit of work, but worth it. If you don’t want to dig, you can attach the wire to your existing fence. Just remember, the wire needs to form a closed loop, so you have to run it back to the starting point and hook it up to the device. I chose to bury some of the wire and carefully staple the rest to avoid damaging it. At first, I placed it too high on the fence and had to lower it because my dog wasn’t getting the signal. Now it’s perfect!

  269. Murf

This is my second time buying this type of wireless dog collar. My little dog has worn the same one for over 13 years! We’ve replaced the collar band a few times for cleanliness and swapped out the battery, but it’s a fantastic product.

  270. Nette Brown

It works great and setting it up was pretty straightforward.

  271. Bbrewer72

Didn’t realize you can’t have open spaces in the wiring. I just wanted to keep my dog out of the garden, but it wouldn’t work with the door area. Lesson learned!

  272. tora128

Keeps our big dobermans off the porch, no problem. Trained them with the flags and now they stop at the beep. Even areas without the wire are safe thanks to the flags. Awesome!

  273. Ginny

Only downside is that the beeps are a bit quiet for me, but my dogs hear them fine and respond well. If it could light up too, that’d be cool. Overall, it’s great.

  274. Roydizzil

Simple and effective. Just what I needed.

  275. Tess

Loved this fence so much, I bought another one for my new house. Easy to install, great directions, and an awesome price. Works perfectly everywhere, even at my mom and sister’s houses. Highly recommend!

  276. Elpayin

This thing is a miracle! My dog used to claim the sofa and make a mess, but after a few beeps, he’s a changed pup. Now he knows where he can and can’t go. Amazing!

  277. nikki

Works great with our existing invisible fence. I replace the batteries monthly and have had these collars for over a year. One of them did stop working recently, but hey, these things happen. Overall, they’re pretty reliable.

  278. Kathie

We had to return this because it didn’t meet our needs. We wanted something to keep the dogs away from the road in a straight line, but this wasn’t it. Oh well, you win some, you lose some!

  279. Jake The Indy Top Dog

I’ve bought about ten of these over the past 12 years since I got the fence system. My dogs sometimes break them when they’re roughhousing, but hey, that’s life with pets! The product is amazing, with multiple correction levels and a beep warning. Battery lasts a good six months or so. Plus, the customer service is fantastic. Any issues, and they’re right there to help!

  280. connie rhodes

These bark collars are awesome! My dogs look cool in them and they work great. Definitely getting more when I need to.

  281. Brittany Piccolo

Burying the line was a hassle, and small critters like moles kept chewing through the wires. Plus, the transmitter box was always acting up, had to buy new ones all the time.

  282. Funguy

Just swapped out an old, worn-out collar for this new one. Works like a charm!

  283. Smiths

Been using this collar for years without any trouble, but suddenly our dog came back inside with a damaged receiver. No clue what happened to the other half, especially after we put in a new battery just yesterday. Bummer.

Pet Safe works perfectly and was easy to set up. My dog was trained in no time and learned to stay within the boundaries in just a week. Highly recommended!

  285. Tim Gilbert

Needed to swap out the old collar for a new one, just as expected. This replacement is just like the original, perfect fit.

This fence worked wonders for our lab and Chihuahua at first, but after a few months, it started to act up. Our Chihuahua could somehow still get through, but the lab wouldn’t dare cross. Then suddenly, even the lab could break free without any shock or noise. We’ve tried everything, but it seems like the system just went kaput. Oh, and the collar material? Not so great.

  287. Wanda

Product arrived as promised, nice packaging, and on time. Can’t ask for more!

My Frenchtons were always bolting outside, and with 8 acres of land full of wildlife, they were always on the hunt! This invisible fence changed our lives. They caught on quickly and now we can all enjoy the outdoors together, stress-free!

  289. Gregory Purtlebaugh

Our Chihuahua got a little zap and now she’s too scared to cross the line. Well, at least she’s not peeing on the floor anymore! Haha, mission accomplished.

This fence system is great for keeping your furry friends safe at home and away from dangerous roads. Totally worth it!

This product only works sometimes. Wouldn’t recommend it and won’t buy it again. Did all the setup and it stopped working a few months later.

We got this inground fence for our three mid-sized dogs, around 50-60lbs. Setting up the fence was pretty straightforward. We tested the collars separately, then put them on the dogs. We’ve used electric collars for training before, so we know their tolerance. First time our youngest tried to cross, he got a huge shock and jumped about 3 feet! When we came in, we sat down to pet him and his neck was wet. He was bleeding with two exposed cuts. His neck was swollen and clearly traumatized. Be careful and don’t use this collar above 2 or 3. It can really hurt your dog!

    Awesome product, thanks a lot!

First off, you need special batteries for this collar. While checking the price, I saw a question on their site about a dead spot in the fence. Petoneda replied that the fence should be 5-10 feet away from metal and power lines. My yard’s full of metal since I’m a metal sculptor, and I wanted to reinforce my chain-link fence. Called customer service and they confirmed an electric fence wouldn’t work for me. Now I’m burying chicken wire to keep my dog in. 3 stars because I don’t like the battery situation. Why not use a standard battery?

Great fence! Used it before at a different spot. Keeps our dogs from climbing and digging under real fences. Bought a used one that was supposed to be in good shape. Everything was there except one cover for the correction strength button. Also, the description said 500ft of wire covers 5 acres, but it didn’t even make a simple loop around my half-acre yard. Had to get an extra 200ft of wire.

  296. CLM

We’ve been using this type of dog fence for over 15 years and this is our second Petoneda system. Couldn’t be happier! Easy to set up and gives our dogs a virtual fence-free yard. The YouTube Petoneda training vid was a huge help. Would definitely buy again.

After three years, I had to replace almost everything… definitely invest in thicker wire before installation. The one that comes with it is too fragile and breaks easily.

No hesitation here, this product’s a total winner. The ultralight collar’s a breeze for my dog. Adjustable size is clutch, fits all kinds of breeds. Waterproof receiver collar? Life-saver in the rain. Short and long contact points make a perfect fit. And those 4 levels of static correction? Awesome for training. Pet owners, this one’s for you!

  299. Susan Darling

I’m super happy with this! Keeps my pups where they should be, no problem. Installation? Piece of cake. Merry Christmas, everyone!

So much better than those rechargeable ones! This fence kit is totally worth it. The wire provided was just enough for my 1/3 acre lot. Just a heads up, the wire’s pretty thin, so be extra careful when splicing or burying it. My dog’s responding well to the system.

Our half-acre lot means the line’s too short. We cordoned off a smaller area to use the provided line. Bought it in 2022, but it stopped working recently. Tried replacing the collar battery, but no luck. Checked the machine, it shows power but no loop. Bought another 500-foot roll, but even that didn’t fix it. I think the controller’s gone bad.

  302. Customer

We have four dogs, and they all get along with this system. Rarely any issues, and when there were, it was usually because something chewed on the shock adjustment area. Not the product’s fault!

  303. Loretta Duffy

Delivered fast and works like a charm!

  304. Michelle B. Tidwell

Just follow the instructions, and you’ll be fine. I started with a 4-month-old lab, and he figured it out in 2 weeks. No worries since then!

This fence is hit or miss. Sometimes it loses connection, and your dog could bolt. I wouldn’t trust a $150 fence with my precious pet. Ended up getting rid of it with a 3″ magnum shell.

  306. Tosh

Got this on a Saturday, opened it the next day, and the power adapter was missing! Called customer service on Monday, and Angela was a star. Sent a pic of my order, and she quickly sorted out a new adapter. Great service!

The collars on this system are a bit dodgy. Batteries lose connection, and the collars don’t always buzz the dogs like they should. A bit disappointing.

  308. Jessie James

Been using this system for two years now, no complaints! Setup takes some time, and you might need to splice the wire if your dog runs through it, but it’s been solid for me. My American Bully got the hang of it quickly, but my blue healer’s a bit more stubborn. She thinks she can outrun the shock, haha!

  309. Cook

Bought this package and an extra collar. One of the collars conked out after just 7 months! Tried a new battery, but nope, it’s the collar itself. For the money I spent, I expected better durability!

  310. N. Bonham

I’ve tried cheaper systems, but you get what you pay for. Sure, the initial cost is lower, but the quality isn’t great. In the end, you might find yourself replacing it often, which can be pricey. Just saying, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Waiting to see if customer service reaches out, but so far, their response has been, ‘Bad luck! Here’s a coupon for a discount on the same product.’
