    Got this for our active 35-pound foxhound pup. It’s smaller than I thought, just a bit bigger than a softball. The ball is hard plastic with a thin, tennis-ball-like cover. It holds a charge well and moves like it should, but my dog tore up the cover in a day and started biting the ball itself in just a few days. I think it’s best for smaller dogs who don’t chew too much.

    What I love about this ball: it keeps my dog occupied for a long time. Like similar toys, it can roll under furniture and get stuck. It’s tough and the battery lasts if you don’t use the crazy mode.
    What I don’t like: the cover. It uses velcro, but the tab ripped off quickly because my dog carries it by that. You need the cover on crazy mode because it’s loud on hard floors. And crazy mode shouldn’t be used too often, which makes sense to prolong the ball’s life. If your dog chews, the cover won’t last and should be used under supervision as it could be a choking hazard.

    Got this a few days ago and our 8-month-old Belgian Malinois loves it! Plays with it till she’s tired. It’s sturdy and well-made. Only issue is she’s removed the cap covering the charging port three times, even damaging the port slightly. The cap is flush with the ball and we’ve checked it’s secure, but she still gets it off. She might want to tear it like her other toys. A twist-in cap might improve safety in future designs.

This ball might work for other dogs, just not mine. Also, the plastic casing is very hard, not like a rubber bouncy ball. Be careful where it bounces!

    I didn’t expect my pup to love this so much! He’s obsessed. The thin fabric cover didn’t last long, it’s pretty cheap and doesn’t stay on well. I’m not sure what to do about that, maybe try wrapping a sock around it? Also, the rechargeable battery doesn’t hold a charge like it used to. Now it needs charging after every second use. My Mini Dachshund runs it down in just two play sessions in a small area.

    This toy rocks! My Corgis are totally into it, trying to figure out if it’s real or not. My older dog has caught on that you can get close when it stops, but she’s not sure why it moves when she approaches. It’s hilarious watching her try to calm down the younger one who just barks at it!

    Cool concept, but the hard plastic doesn’t work well on hardwood floors. Plus, the ball broke within a week just by dropping it. Considering the price, I’m not sure it’s worth it. Our dogs loved it, but I’m not buying another one at that cost.

    I wasn’t sure about this at first, but it really captures the dogs’ attention. It’s a bit noisy, but hey, dogs love it! I don’t bother with the plug cover anymore, she always gets it off. It’s got some teeth marks, but it’s still going strong.

    My pup goes crazy for this toy! It’s a blast to watch him play with it. The only downside is that the tennis ball cover didn’t last long, about half an hour, and I had to ditch the charger plug cover because I didn’t want him to swallow it. But hey, minor flaws aside, this thing is awesome!

    Got this for my Dachshund, and he’s obsessed! This ball is crazy fun. He won’t play with anything else now. He loves it so much, he begs for it while it’s charging. It rolls and jumps with flashing lights. The only downside is the tennis ball cover – he figured out how to take it off right away. But it does help with the noise. Best dog toy ever!

    If your dog’s always on the go, this toy is perfect. Keeps my pup occupied and happy. Just don’t expect miracles if your dog’s a chewer. But, the silicone cover on the on/off button is a genius move. Makes it tougher for dogs to break. And if something does go wrong, there’s a 1-year warranty. Totally recommend!
